I am a Heart Holder, a Soul Listener &
a Witness and Companion to Your Grief

Hello again! My name is Shelby, and I am so happy you made it to my website. I know from both personal and professional experience that therapy is brave work. I also understand that the success of therapy depends on the safety, authenticity, and connection you feel with me. That’s why I offer a free discovery session for us to meet.

My style is deeply intuitive, heart-centered, sometimes playful, and always steeped in tenderness for all you have lived and experienced.

The Power Of Empathic Connection Can Be
Profound Succor For Your Soul.

To claim your best lives demands both your consciousness and your willingness to meet the uncomfortable places within. Trauma, abuse, betrayal, chronic stress and, grief are some examples of pain, if left un-metabolized, can disconnect you from your most real Self.

Astute Therapy Can Help You Transform Your Pain Into Insight And Enfold the Tender Places Within That Have Often Lived Without A Voice.

In every session, I listen deeply and ask the kinds of questions that help you make connections and tap into your deepest wisdom and healing. My goal is to support you in ways that encourage self-reliance, liberation, and motivation to claim peace and meaning for your life.

Together let’s help you learn how to access your imagination, creativity, and curiosity to claim the wholeness you crave. And…I promise we will laugh, find love,
and nourishment along the way.

Scroll down a tiny bit more to learn some other fun facts that inspire and inform me
as a therapist and a person…

Just in case you were wondering…

  • I work from the belief that unwanted symptoms or circumstances in our lives have a “soul meaning,” and a deeper message for you. Therefore, I offer a dynamic, engaged, heart-centered (and non-pathologizing) approach to therapy. I aim to empower and enable you to “connect your dots” to access your most profound knowing, strength, and healing ~ even in the face of life’s most difficult pain and challenges. I will always hold space for your strengths to persevere.

  • On a good day, you may catch me with paint all over my hands; it just means I was playing with my Muse. Have I told you yet how excited I am to help you dance with yours?

  • I believe that life is too short for uncomfortable clothes. This is why I unapologetically wear jeans to work. And sometimes cozy socks also! And I will encourage you to claim the very same comfort!

I believe in kindness. Also in mischief. Also in singing, especially when singing is not necessarily prescribed.

  • While I am always respectful, I am also playful, sometimes sassy and, I believe in love nudges. “Saying it like it is” can be profoundly healing and provide great levity. Therefore, upon occasion, I may be so inclined to stir it up a little. I absolutely have room for your passionate, lively self too!

  • Listening with deep presence is one of the most profound healing gifts we can give to each other.

  • Despite the most challenging circumstances (and maybe even because of), I believe we are here to grow, transcend and thrive.

  • Butterflies are evidence and reminders of the power that comes from digging deep and saying “YES!” to transformation, triumph, and joy.

Lastly… I am working hard in this life to grow my most powerful wings
and I am passionate about helping my clients do the same!
