COVID-19 and Your Mental Health
Staying Safe and Staying Well
In light of the ongoing developments related to the COVID-19 virus, I want to assure you that your safety and well-being are my top priority. Because of the current climate, I am now offering telemental health treatment. This shift to virtual only appointments may be temporary, but I believe it is the right thing to do to help our community get through this difficult time. The good news is that COVID-19 and therapy do not need to be mutually exclusive. Your mental health is still important.
I understand that this level of uncertainty can be very anxiety provoking. I hope you will remember to stay in the present moment and trust that you have the ability to deal with whatever comes your way. We can’t fight future fears other than to be prepared and mindful and tend the things and relationships that we have the ability to impact.
News is changing daily, and as a healthcare provider, I am watching closely and taking all proper precautions. Making sure all clients feel safe is my top priority. I will provide the best possible environment whether it be in person or online so that you can continue to be treated with peace of mind and respect for all the things in you that feel vulnerable and anxious.
My therapy and coaching services are still readily available. In fact, it is as easy as turning on your computer. Telemental health allows you the exact same benefits of going into the office from the comfort of your own home. It is still possible to get the help you need while maintaining social distancing expectations.
Taking care of your mental health and wellness during this time is incredibly important. Mental health professionals across the country are grateful to be able to offer the opportunity to provide treatment even when faced with rigid restrictions.
Contact me to schedule to your free 30 minute phone consultation today. I am currently able to schedule appointments within the week. For now I am only scheduling telemental health appointments, but will be back also offering in-person appointments when it is appropriate.
